This paint is used in automotive restoration and maintenance work where heat-resistant coating is required on metal surfaces near engines, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, and similar components. Full heat resistance develops after the coating has been fully cured according to the manufacturer cycle, typically achieved by gradually heating the coated component during initial use.
