The KRYLON EDE1615 is a 12 oz aluminum-finish aerosol paint formulated for high-heat automotive applications. It delivers a high gloss finish and resists temperatures up to 500 degrees F, making it suitable for engine components, exhaust manifolds, brake calipers, and other surfaces exposed to sustained heat. The Ez Touch conical nozzle provides consistent spray control and reduces hand fatigue during application. This product is also resistant to oil and other common automotive fluids, helping the finish hold up under real-world underhood conditions. It is applied by spray directly from the aerosol can with no additional equipment required.

This paint is used in automotive maintenance and restoration work where heat exposure is a concern. Typical applications include coating exhaust system components, valve covers, intake manifolds, and other metal surfaces in engine bays. Compatibility

Installation Notes

Application should be performed by a qualified automotive technician or experienced installer in a well-ventilated area. Clean and degrease the target surface thoroughly before applying. Shake the can well and apply in light, even coats, allowing the manufacturer-specified dry time of 30 minutes between coats. Avoid applying near open flame or ignition sources, as aerosol propellants are flammable.
