The KROIL SK011 is a petroleum-distillate-based penetrating oil supplied in a 1-gallon can. It is formulated to free seized, rusted, or corroded fasteners and fittings across a wide range of mechanical and trade applications. The base fluid is petroleum distillates, and the formula is VOC compliant. It is not rated for food-grade contact. Technicians in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical service use penetrating oils like this to loosen bolts, pipe fittings, set screws, and other hardware that has corroded or seized due to age, moisture, or galvanic action.
