The KOYO KOYO6202-2RDC3 is a single-row deep groove ball bearing in the 6200 series, designed for moderate radial and low axial load applications across a wide range of rotating machinery. It is manufactured from high carbon, high chromium Japanese bearing steel, delivering consistent hardness and fatigue resistance under continuous operating cycles. The bearing carries a 2RD rubber seal configuration, which is engineered specifically for high-speed and reduced-drag applications while maintaining maximum sealing ability against contaminants. Internal clearance is specified to the C3 class, meaning greater-than-normal radial clearance, making it well suited for applications with elevated operating temperatures or press-fit installations. Licensed HVAC technicians, industrial mechanics, and equipment service professionals install this bearing type.
This bearing is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial HVAC blower assemblies, fan motors, pump shafts, small compressors, and general rotating equipment where moderate radial loads and relatively high rotational speeds are present. The C3 clearance designation is commonly specified by OEMs in motor applications where thermal expansion during operation would otherwise reduce internal clearance to unsafe levels. The 2RD double-seal design keeps grease retained within the bearing cavity while blocking dust and light moisture ingress during service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for single-row deep groove ball bearings in the 6200 series with C3 clearance and double rubber seals, suitable for electric motors, blower assemblies, pumps, and similar rotating equipment requiring this bearing designation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic or technician with experience handling precision bearings. Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before removing the old bearing and seating the replacement. Use a proper bearing press or installation sleeve that contacts only the bearing race being driven — never strike the sealing face or apply force through the rolling elements. Avoid exposing the sealed bearing to solvents, as these can degrade the rubber seal and wash out the factory grease.
