The KLEIN TOOLS 633-4INS is a No. 1 Phillips insulated screwdriver designed for electricians and other trade professionals working on or near energized components. The shank is heat-treated tempered steel with a precision forged and ground black tip, providing consistent tip engagement and long service life. The cushion grip handle gives secure torque transfer even in wet or oily conditions. At 6.75 inches overall length with a 3-inch round shank, this screwdriver fits comfortably in standard tool pouches and fits in tight panel spaces. The insulated construction meets IEC 900 and ASTM F1505-94 standards for insulated hand tools.
This screwdriver is used by licensed electricians and maintenance technicians for work on low-voltage terminals, panel lugs, outlet and switch wiring, and other applications requiring insulated tooling. Its compact overall length makes it practical inside load centers, junction boxes, and control panels where clearance is limited. The round shank allows use with a wrench for added torque when needed. It is sold individually and is also available in packs of six for crew stocking or tool-crib replenishment.
Designed as an OEM-style insulated hand tool for general electrical trade use wherever a No. 1 Phillips insulated screwdriver is specified per IEC 900 or ASTM F1505-94 requirements.
Installation of this tool is performed by licensed electricians following applicable NEC requirements. Always de-energize circuits and verify with a meter before working on terminals when possible, even when using rated insulated tools. Inspect the insulation sleeve for cracks, cuts, or damage before each use — a damaged insulated tool must not be used near energized conductors. Do not use power tools or impact drivers to drive this screwdriver; it is rated for hand-torque applications only.
