The KLEIN TOOLS 602-4-INS is an insulated Keystone tip screwdriver built for electricians and other trade professionals working on or near energized equipment. The round shank is heavy-duty and heat-treated tempered steel, precision forged and ground to a black Keystone tip measuring 1/4 inch wide. Overall length is 8-11/32 inches with a 4-inch shank. The cushion-grip handle provides control and reduces hand fatigue during extended use. Insulation meets IEC 900 and ASTM F1505-94 standards, making this tool rated for 1,000-volt work when used within those specifications.
This screwdriver is suited for residential and commercial electrical work, panel installations, fixture wiring, and any task requiring a Keystone slot drive in a low-clearance or voltage-present environment. The insulated construction makes it appropriate for service professionals who need a code-compliant hand tool when working inside energized enclosures or switchgear. It is sold individually but is also available in packs of six for shop and truck stocking.
Designed as an OEM-style insulated hand tool for use with standard Keystone slotted fasteners in electrical and low-voltage trade applications.
This tool is intended for use by licensed electricians and qualified trade professionals. Before working inside any enclosure, follow lockout/tagout procedures per NFPA 70E requirements. Inspect the insulation for cracks, cuts, or damage before each use — a compromised insulating jacket reduces voltage protection and the tool should be removed from service. Do not exceed the voltage rating defined by IEC 900 and ASTM F1505-94.
