The KLEIN TOOLS 56335 is a high-strength steel fish tape designed for electricians pulling wire and cable through conduit runs. Measuring 1/8 inch wide by 0.045 inch thick and 25 feet long, this tape features permanent, laser-etched 1-foot increment markings along its length. Those markings make it straightforward to measure conduit depth and track how much tape remains in the case during a pull. A full-grip style handle gives the installer a firm, controlled hold while feeding or retrieving the tape.
This fish tape suits residential and light commercial electrical work where accurate conduit measurement is critical. The DepthFinder laser-etched scale eliminates guesswork when determining conduit run lengths or calculating how much wire to pre-stage. The 25-foot length covers common interior wall and ceiling conduit runs. It is a standard tool for licensed electricians and experienced electrical trades workers performing rough-in and finish wiring on EMT, rigid, or flexible conduit systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fish tape for use with residential and light commercial conduit systems where a 25-foot steel fish tape is required.
Fish tape installation is typically performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC requirements. Always de-energize and verify circuits are dead before fishing tape through conduit near existing wiring. Feed tape smoothly to avoid kinking; steel tape should not be forced through sharp bends that exceed the conduit radius. Wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, when handling steel fish tape edges.
