The KLEIN TOOLS 56108 is a 500-foot polypropylene pull line designed for use with manual and power fishing systems when routing wire and cable through concealed spaces. The line is rated at 210 pounds average breaking strength and is built from rot- and mildew-resistant polypropylene, making it suitable for installations in wall cavities, above suspended ceilings, under carpet, and through raised-floor systems. Electricians reach for this line when pulling light-gauge cables or when using it as a lead line to haul back a heavier rope or conduit measuring tape.
This pull line is used in commercial and residential electrical work wherever wire must be routed through enclosed or hard-to-reach spaces. Common applications include above-ceiling cable runs, through-wall rough-ins, under-carpet low-voltage work, and raised-floor data or power installations. It pairs with standard fish rod sets and motorized fishing systems already in use on the job site.
Designed for use with manual or power fishing systems as a pull line for light-sized cables or as a lead line in wire-routing applications through walls, ceilings, and raised floors.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians or low-voltage technicians following applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning any wire pull. Avoid sharp bends or pinch points along the pull path that could exceed the line-s rated breaking strength. Inspect the line for fraying or kinking before each use and retire it if damage is found.
