The CL800 features automatically ranging TRMS technology for accurate measurements of AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity, frequency, capacitance, and testing of diodes. The device also has a low impedance mode (LoZ) to help identify ghost or stray voltages. It is built to withstand a drop from six point six feet and supports operation at altitudes up to six thousand five hundred and sixty-two feet.
