The KIPP K0270.2A41X50 is a threaded stud adjustable clamping handle designed for secure, tool-free locking in industrial and mechanical assembly applications. The handle body is molded from fiberglass-reinforced plastic in a modern arm style, providing strength and chemical resistance while keeping weight low at 0.13 pounds. The stud and internal components are stainless steel (AISI 303), finished bright. The adjustable mechanism allows the handle arm to be repositioned at 20-degree increments, making it suitable for confined or awkward mounting orientations. Installed by machinists, maintenance technicians, and mechanical assemblers, this handle suits fixtures, jigs, enclosures, and machine guarding where repeatable hand-tightening is required.
This adjustable clamping handle is used in light industrial, manufacturing, and equipment assembly environments where operators need fast, repeatable clamping without tools. The 3/8-16 threaded stud allows direct mounting into standard tapped holes. With a handle length of 2.56 inches and an overall height of 1.79 inches, it fits compact panel and frame installations. The black fiberglass-reinforced plastic body resists oils, cleaning solvents, and moderate heat, making it appropriate for production machinery, enclosures, and adjustment mechanisms on shop equipment.
Designed as a direct-mount adjustable clamping handle for any application with a standard 3/8-16 tapped hole in industrial machinery, fixtures, enclosures, or equipment panels.
Installation is performed by threading the stud directly into a prepared 3/8-16 tapped hole; no special tools are required for mounting. Ensure the mating tapped hole depth accommodates the 1.97-inch stud length to achieve full thread engagement. Before installing on powered equipment, de-energize and lock out the machine per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Do not exceed the handle's rated clamping load, and verify the arm is locked in the desired angular position before putting the assembly into service.
