The KILLARK geceat-2 is an EAT-style explosion-proof conduit outlet body designed for use in hazardous location electrical installations. Constructed from electrostatically applied powder-coated copper-free aluminum, it provides corrosion resistance and durability in demanding environments. The body features a 3/4 inch hub size with two hubs positioned at one side and one down, and an internally threaded cover with a 2-11/16 inch cover opening diameter. It carries UL 886 and CSA C22.2 approvals. Licensed electricians working in classified hazardous areas install this conduit body as part of compliant explosion-proof conduit systems.
The geceat-2 is rated for Class I Group C and D, Class I Zone 1 Group IIA and IIB, Class II, and Class III hazardous locations, covering a broad range of flammable gas, vapor, dust, and fiber environments. It is suited for industrial facilities, refineries, chemical plants, grain handling operations, and similar installations where conduit systems must contain any ignition source within the fitting. The 19 cubic inch internal capacity supports standard conductor fill requirements for 3/4 inch trade-size conduit runs. A grounding screw is included with the fitting.
Designed as an OEM-style explosion-proof conduit outlet body for use with 3/4 inch trade-size conduit systems in Class I, Class II, and Class III hazardous location wiring installations per NEC Article 500 requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician qualified in hazardous location wiring methods. De-energize the circuit and verify lockout/tagout procedures are in place before making any connections. All conduit entries must be sealed per NEC Article 501 sealing requirements for explosion-proof systems. The grounding screw must be used to maintain equipment grounding continuity through the conduit body.
