The MR201/C is intended for fire alarm system applications where an isolated relay contact output is required to activate door holders, notification appliance circuits, elevator recall equipment, HVAC shutdown circuits, or similar auxiliary loads. Designed as an OEM-style auxiliary relay for use with compatible fire alarm control systems requiring an external relay module. Refer to the fire alarm control panel documentation and applicable system wiring diagrams to confirm fitment before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician or licensed electrician in accordance with NFPA 72 and all applicable local codes. De-energize and lock out the fire alarm control panel before making any wiring connections to the relay module. Follow the manufacturer data sheet for wiring terminal assignments and supervision requirements. Do not exceed the relay contact ratings for connected loads.
