The KIDDE - EDWARDS EOL3.6-1.1 is an end of line resistor pack used in waterflow detection circuits. It provides the supervised termination resistance values required to maintain circuit integrity in fire alarm and waterflow monitoring systems. The pack includes two resistance values, 3.6K ohms and 1.1K ohms, allowing it to serve dual-function supervisory roles within a single assembly. Licensed fire alarm technicians and low-voltage installation contractors typically source this component during new installation or service work on sprinkler monitoring panels.
This resistor pack is used in waterflow equipment applications, typically installed at the end of a Class B initiating device circuit or supervisory circuit on a fire alarm control panel. It is suited for commercial and light industrial fire protection systems where sprinkler waterflow switches and supervisory devices require proper EOL termination to maintain circuit supervision. The component is sold as a single unit and is sized for standard panel wiring applications.
Designed as an OEM-style end of line resistor pack for waterflow equipment circuits in supervised fire alarm systems requiring 3.6K ohm and 1.1K ohm termination values.
Installation should be performed by a licensed fire alarm technician in accordance with NFPA 72 and local authority having jurisdiction requirements. De-energize and place the fire alarm control panel in test mode before servicing any initiating device circuit. The resistor pack is installed at the last device on a Class B circuit to maintain supervisory current. Do not substitute resistor values or bypass the EOL device, as doing so will compromise circuit supervision and may generate trouble conditions on the panel.
