The KEO 919-000-973 is a single-flute solid carbide countersink designed for precision chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metalworking and fabrication environments. With a 1/4 inch head diameter and a 100-degree included angle, this tool produces clean, consistent countersunk seats for fasteners and deburrs hole edges with minimal chatter. The solid carbide construction delivers hardness and wear resistance suited to demanding production and maintenance applications. At 2 inches overall length with a 1/4 inch shank diameter, it fits standard drill chucks and collet holders used across machining, HVAC fabrication, and mechanical assembly workflows.
This countersink is well suited for light-duty chamfering and deburring on metal components encountered in HVAC equipment fabrication, plumbing bracket work, electrical enclosure prep, and general mechanical assembly. The 100-degree included angle accommodates fastener seating profiles commonly found in sheet metal and structural applications. The single-flute geometry is particularly effective on harder materials where reduced cutting forces and improved chip clearance are priorities. Installers and machinists working with hand drills, drill presses, or CNC setups will find the 1/4 inch shank universally compatible with standard tooling setups.
Designed as a standard single-flute carbide countersink for use in drill presses, hand drills, and CNC spindles accepting a 1/4 inch round shank.
This tool is installed and operated by machinists, fabricators, and skilled tradespeople using standard drill or collet chucks. Secure the shank fully in the chuck before operation and verify the workpiece is clamped or fixtured to prevent movement. Use appropriate cutting speeds for the workpiece material and carbide tooling to avoid chipping the cutting edge. Inspect the flute and cutting edge for wear or damage before each use.
