The KEO 919-000-137 is a single-flute, high-speed steel countersink designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations in metal fabrication and machining applications. The tool features a 1-1/4 inch head diameter and a 100-degree included angle, making it well suited for creating flush-seat profiles for flat-head fasteners. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 1/2 inch in diameter and 1-1/4 inches in length, providing positive grip in standard drill chucks and collets. Right-hand cutting direction is standard for conventional spindle rotation. This tool is installed and operated by machinists, tool and die professionals, and maintenance technicians working with drill presses, milling machines, or hand-held power tools.
This countersink is intended for use on ferrous and non-ferrous materials in both production and maintenance settings. Typical applications include preparing drilled holes to accept flat-head machine screws, deburring drilled openings, and creating lead-in chamfers on bore entries. The single-flute geometry produces a clean, chatter-resistant cut and is particularly effective when working with interrupted cuts or when surface finish is a priority. No pilot is included, so the operator centers the tool over the existing hole using the spindle or fixture setup.
Designed as an OEM-style single-flute countersink for use in drill presses, milling machines, and hand-held power tools accepting a 1/2 inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with rotating cutting tools. Secure the 1/2 inch shank firmly in the chuck or collet before initiating spindle rotation. Always power down and lock out the machine before changing tooling. Use appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material and verify spindle speed is within the recommended range for high-speed steel tooling at the given diameter.
