The KEO 919-000-052 is a 5-piece countersink set designed for creating clean, accurate countersunk holes in a wide range of materials. Each countersink in the set features a single flute geometry and a 90-degree included angle, covering head diameters from 0.25 inches to 1 inch. The tools are ground from high-speed steel (HSS) and left with a bright, uncoated finish. Right-hand cutting direction makes these compatible with standard drill press and hand-held drill setups. The set stores in a fitted wood block for organized access on the job or at the bench. Machinists, tool and die workers, and general fabricators reach for this set when deburring and countersinking fastener seats across multiple diameters.
This countersink set suits production and maintenance environments where multiple fastener sizes are encountered in a single workflow. The 0.25-inch to 1-inch head diameter range covers the most common machine screw and bolt countersink profiles. Straight shanks fit standard drill chucks without adapters. The single-flute design is well suited to countersinking in steel, aluminum, brass, and plastics where a smooth, chatter-free finish is required. Both job-shop machinists and maintenance technicians find the range of sizes practical for everyday use.
Designed as a general-purpose countersink set for use with standard drill chucks in drill presses, CNC machines, and hand-held drills where a straight shank and 90-degree countersink geometry are required.
Countersinks should be installed by machinists or fabricators familiar with cutting tool speeds and feeds for the workpiece material. Secure the straight shank firmly in a drill chuck before operation and confirm the chuck key is removed before powering the machine. Start at a conservative spindle speed and increase as needed to achieve a clean seat without chatter. Inspect the cutting edge before each use and do not use a chipped or dull tool, as it will produce an uneven countersink seat.
