The KEO 919-000-045 is a 5-piece single-flute countersink set machined from cobalt steel and finished with a TiAlN (titanium aluminum nitride) coating. The set covers head diameters from 0.25 inches to 1 inch, with shank diameters ranging from 0.25 to 0.5 inches and overall lengths from 1.5 to 2.75 inches. All tools in the set cut at a fixed 82-degree included angle, the standard for most fastener countersinking work in metal. The set ships in a wood storage block for organized bench or tool-crib storage. Machinists, toolmakers, and metalworking professionals reach for this set when a range of countersink sizes is required on a single job or across varied work orders.
These countersinks are suited to chamfering, countersinking, and deburring operations on metal workpieces. The single-flute geometry delivers a clean, chatter-resistant cut on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The TiAlN coating extends tool life by improving heat resistance and reducing built-up edge at elevated cutting speeds. This set is appropriate for production and job-shop environments where multiple countersink diameters are used regularly and organized storage reduces setup time.
Designed for chamfering, countersinking, and deburring applications on metal workpieces where an 82-degree countersink angle is required. Shank diameters of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are compatible with standard drill press chucks and CNC tool holders accepting those sizes.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom personnel using a drill press, milling machine, or CNC machining center. Secure the appropriate shank diameter firmly in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout before cutting. Set spindle speed according to the workpiece material and countersink diameter - larger diameters require lower RPM. Inspect the cutting edge for wear or chipping before each use and replace individual tools as needed.
