The KEO 919-000-029 is a single-end, straight-shank countersink designed for metalworking and machining applications where clean, accurate chamfered holes are required. It features a 1 inch head diameter, a 90 degree included angle, and 4 flutes that produce smooth cutting action with reduced chatter. The tool is manufactured from high-speed steel and cuts in the right-hand direction. With a 0.5 inch straight-cylindrical shank, it mounts securely in standard drill chucks and collet holders. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and metal fabricators use this countersink to prepare holes for flat-head fasteners or to deburr drilled openings in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This countersink is suited for use on drill presses, milling machines, and hand-held power drills where a 0.5 inch shank capacity is available. It is appropriate for production and job-shop environments working with steel, aluminum, brass, and similar machinable materials. The 90 degree angle is the standard for most flat-head machine screws and socket-head cap screws used in North American manufacturing. No pilot is included, so the operator controls centering by fixture or by technique.
Designed as a standard straight-shank countersink compatible with drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 0.5 inch shank diameter, suitable for use on drill presses, mills, and power drills in general machining and metal fabrication applications.
This tool is installed and used by machinists and metal fabricators following standard machine-shop practices. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operating, and ensure the spindle speed is appropriate for the workpiece material and tool diameter. Power down and de-energize the machine before changing or adjusting the tool. Do not use on materials or at feeds and speeds that exceed the rated capability of high-speed steel tooling.
