The KENNAMETAL 7102857 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill from the HARVI IV series, designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features an 8-flute configuration with a 0.030-inch (0.77 mm) corner radius, a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, and a 1.25-inch length of cut. The variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonic vibration during aggressive cuts, while the AlCrN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in abrasive materials. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation in deep-cavity and high-feed operations. Licensed machinists and CNC tooling technicians are the primary installers and operators.

This end mill is suited for high-speed finishing and semi-finishing passes on hardened steels, stainless alloys, and other difficult-to-machine materials in both production and job-shop environments.
