It features a 0.500 inch diameter, a 1.000 inch length of cut, and a 0.0300 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations and extends tool life at the cutting edge. The 6-flute, close-pitch geometry combined with a 38-degree high helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures, making this tool well suited for dry or semi-dry machining.
