The KENNAMETAL 7077037 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding materials. It features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 0.1900 inch corner radius, and 6 flutes arranged in a right-hand spiral with a 38-degree high helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when machining abrasive and hard workpiece materials. With a short flute geometry and close pitch configuration, this single-end, centercutting tool is suited for machinists and CNC operators running finishing passes where tight tolerances and surface finish quality are priorities.
This end mill is intended for finishing operations in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It fits applications where a corner radius profile is required to reduce stress concentration at part corners and extend tool engagement without chipping. The HA3A series is designed for use with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholders. It is appropriate for use on CNC machining centers running demanding production schedules in aerospace, die and mold, and precision manufacturing environments.

Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician familiar with rotating cutting tool assemblies. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the hydraulic or collet holder to the recommended gauge line and torque the clamping mechanism per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping before use, as carbide tooling is brittle and sensitive to improper handling.
