The KENNAMETAL 6769563 is a solid carbide square end mill engineered for demanding metal removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, high-temp alloys, and hardened materials. Built to the H1TE series, it runs a 0.315-inch mill diameter with a matching 0.315-inch shank, four spiral flutes, and an AlTiN coating that holds up under high heat and abrasion. The variable helix angle of 36 to 39 degrees and variable index geometry reduce chatter and improve surface finish at aggressive feed rates. Center-cutting capability allows direct plunging. This tool is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in production or job-shop environments.
The 6769563 is suited for peripheral milling, slotting, and profiling operations in steel and high-temperature alloy components where tool life and dimensional stability matter. The extended reach and 0.945-inch reach length past the shoulder make it practical for deeper-wall features without requiring a stub-length substitution. It is a single-end, right-hand cut tool with right-hand flutes. The H1TE series designation places it in KENNAMETAL material grade KCPM15, a substrate optimized for hardened and difficult-to-machine materials in both wet and dry cutting conditions.

Verify runout with a dial indicator before engaging the workpiece, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a carbide tool of this diameter.
