The KENNAMETAL 6767864 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding material removal in ferrous and hard-material machining applications. Built on the H1TE series platform, it features a 3/4 inch diameter with a 0.03 inch corner radius and four helical flutes ground to a 36-degree helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides heat and oxidation resistance for extended tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. At 4.5 inches overall length with a 1 inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool handles both roughing and finishing passes. The Weldon flat shank and extended reach design make it well-suited for rigid, repeatable setups in CNC machining centers.
This end mill is engineered for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, S, and H. The short flute geometry with a normal pitch and right-hand cutting and flute direction supports controlled chip evacuation in typical production milling scenarios. It is compatible with EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A toolholding systems as noted by the manufacturer. Machinists and CNC operators running multi-material production cells or job-shop environments will find this end mill well-suited to a broad range of workpiece materials without a dedicated tool change.
Compatible with EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A toolholding systems per manufacturer documentation. Designed for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials in CNC milling operations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool magazine is in a safe state before mounting or removing the end mill. Seat the Weldon flat fully in the holder and torque the set screw per the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating the first cut, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear and can compromise dimensional accuracy.
