The KENNAMETAL 6767828 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built to the H1TE series standard, it features a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 0.12 inch corner radius, and four helical flutes ground from submicron carbide substrate. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures, making this tool well-suited for dry or near-dry machining. With a 1 inch length of cut and a 4.5 inch overall length, it handles both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in production environments are the primary users.
This end mill is engineered for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its single-end, centercutting geometry allows plunge entry as well as conventional and climb milling. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction are standard for CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with KENNAMETAL HC hydraulic chuck sleeves, including HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 inch hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, HC-HSK Form A holders, and Hydraulic Chuck Standard Line Inch KM63XMZ. The extended reach design and 2.25 inch reach length support deeper cavity and shoulder milling where standard-reach tools cannot clear the workpiece.

Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank in a hydraulic or collet chuck to the manufacturer-specified clamping torque for the holder in use. Confirm runout at the cutting edge with a dial indicator before initiating a cut. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing or inspecting the tool.
