The KENNAMETAL 6767822 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 5/8 inch diameter, a 0.06 inch corner radius, and four helical flutes with a 36-degree helix angle. The cutting geometry supports both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extends tool life when cutting abrasive or hard materials. The overall length is 4 inches with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 2.25 inch reach length. The shank diameter matches the cutter diameter at 5/8 inch, and the neck diameter is 0.5875 inch. This is a single-end, centercutting, short-length-type end mill in the H1TE series, manufactured from submicron-grade carbide.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is used in CNC machining centers for slotting, profiling, contouring, and general material removal where corner radius geometry is required to reduce stress concentrations at part features. The right-hand cut and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with standard spindle configurations. It is rated for use with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores and HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves with metric bodies and inch bores.
Designed for use with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores and HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves with metric bodies and inch bores. Suitable for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per primary material codes P, M, K, S, and H.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the machine in a full stop and locked-out condition. Ensure the shank is fully seated and secured in the tool holder before operation. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on carbide tooling. Refer to the machine tool builder and KENNAMETAL cutting data guidelines for appropriate feed, speed, and depth-of-cut parameters for the workpiece material.
