The KENNAMETAL 6767788 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding metal removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It carries a 0.25 inch mill diameter, a 0.06 inch corner radius, and four right-hand helical flutes at a 36-degree helix angle. The AlTiN physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating delivers high-temperature hardness and oxidation resistance, making this tool suitable for both roughing and finishing operations. A center-cutting design allows plunge entry, and the straight-cylindrical shank provides a secure grip in standard or hydraulic toolholding. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling professionals.
This end mill is applied in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight corner radii and controlled surface finishes are required. The short flute length of 0.375 inches combined with a 1.25 inch reach length and 1.5 inch length of cut supports extended-reach work in pockets, slots, and profiling cuts. The 0.235 inch neck diameter reduces interference in deep-cavity operations. Typical workpiece materials include P-grade steels, M-grade stainless steels, K-grade cast irons, S-grade superalloys and titanium, and H-grade hard materials. Compatible toolholding includes HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores and HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, as well as HC-CV Form AD holders.

Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in an energy-isolated state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder and torque the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout with a dial indicator before production use, as excessive runout will reduce tool life and surface finish quality.
