The KENNAMETAL 6767764 is a solid carbide ball end mill from the Harvi I TE series, designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and hard materials. The tool features a 0.125-inch (1/8 inch) mill diameter, a 0.25-inch (1/4 inch) length of cut, and a 1.5-inch overall length. Four right-hand spiral flutes with a variable helix geometry reduce chatter and support both roughing and finishing operations in a single tool. An AlTiN PVD coating enhances heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting temperatures. The material grade is KCPM15, suited for interrupted cuts and high-feed applications.
This end mill is built for CNC machining centers handling dynamic milling, ramping, and contouring operations. The ball nose profile generates contoured surfaces and 3D profiling passes without a tool change. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 0.125 inches in diameter, fitting standard collet chucks and toolholders in that size range. The single-end configuration and standard length make it a direct fit for tight-clearance cavity work and die-mold applications where rigidity matters. It is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators in job shops, aerospace, and precision manufacturing environments.
Part of the Kennametal Harvi I TE series (catalog number H1TE4BN0125R025HA). Designed for use on CNC machining centers cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials (ISO material codes P, M, K, S, H).
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank in a properly sized collet or end mill holder and verify runout before cutting. Confirm spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before engaging the workpiece. Follow machine tool manufacturer torque specifications for toolholder retention hardware; do not exceed rated clamping force for carbide tooling.
