The KENNAMETAL 6767752 is a solid carbide ball end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining applications. Built on the HARVI I TE platform, this 4-flute tool features a 0.5-inch cutting diameter, a 1.75-inch length of cut, and a variable helix geometry that reduces chatter and improves surface finish across both roughing and finishing passes. The AlTiN PVD coating increases heat and wear resistance, extending tool life at elevated cutting speeds. At 4.0 inches overall length with a long-series classification, this end mill suits deep-cavity work and extended-reach setups where rigidity must be maintained.
This end mill is engineered for steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material groups P, M, K, S, and H. It handles dynamic milling toolpaths, extreme ramping operations, and general-purpose profiling. The single-end, straight-cylindrical shank with a 0.5-inch diameter fits standard ER and hydraulic toolholders common on vertical machining centers and multi-axis CNC platforms. The KCPM15 material grade is matched to the variable helix design, making this tool effective across a broad range of workpiece hardness levels. Machinists and CNC programmers working in job shop or production environments will find consistent performance on both roughing and semi-finish operations.
Part of the HARVI I TE series (Series H1TEBN..N-L), catalog number H1TE4BN0500L175HA. Compatible with standard 0.5-inch straight-cylindrical toolholders including ER collet chucks, hydraulic chucks, and shrink-fit holders used on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the toolholder bore and collet are clean and free of chips before seating the shank. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before cutting, as excessive runout accelerates wear on carbide end mills. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures when handling solid carbide tooling.
