The KENNAMETAL 6767706 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance finishing operations in demanding machining environments. Built on the KOR6 series platform, it features a 3/8 inch diameter with a 0.0300 inch corner radius and six flutes with a 38-degree high helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life when cutting abrasive or hard workpiece materials. The extra-long configuration delivers a 1-7/8 inch length of cut and 4 inch overall length, making it suitable for deep-pocket and extended-reach applications. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers in job shops, aerospace, and precision manufacturing facilities are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is engineered for finishing passes in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It is a single-end, centercutting tool with right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction, and a close-pitch spiral flute geometry suited to tight-tolerance surface finishing. It is compatible for use with HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 hydraulic sleeve inch toolholders with inch bores, making it a natural fit for high-runout-sensitive finishing setups on 3-axis and multi-axis CNC machining centers.
Designed for use with HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 hydraulic sleeve inch toolholders with inch bores. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per material codes P, M, K, S, and H.
This tool should be installed by qualified machinists following the toolholder manufacturer guidelines for hydraulic sleeve clamping. Verify toolholder bore diameter matches the 3/8 inch straight cylindrical shank before clamping. Ensure the spindle and any live tooling are fully de-energized and locked out before tool changes. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer recommended stick-out length for the selected hydraulic sleeve.
