The KENNAMETAL 6767675 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding materials. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the tool tip and extends edge life. Six flutes with a high-helix spiral geometry and close pitch promote efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finish. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and oxidation protection, making this tool well-suited for dry or semi-dry cutting applications. It is designed for finishing operations and is used by CNC machinists and toolroom professionals in production environments.
This end mill is intended for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its KOR6 series geometry targets challenging workpiece materials where tool wear and heat generation are primary concerns. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, and the Safe-Lock compatible shank provides secure pull-out resistance when used with compatible toolholding systems. Typical applications include contouring, profiling, and finishing passes on hardened or high-alloy components in aerospace, die-mold, and precision machining environments.
Compatible toolholding systems include HC-HSK Form A, HC-CV Form AD, ER single angle standard collets, and hydraulic chuck standard line toolholders. Designed for use in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per KOR6 series application guidelines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Verify shank engagement depth meets the toolholder manufacturer minimum grip length recommendation before tightening. Do not exceed the recommended runout tolerance for the toolholder, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on close-pitch multi-flute tools.
