The KENNAMETAL 6754965 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding milling operations in non-ferrous materials. The tool features a 3/4 inch diameter, a 0.06 inch corner radius, and five flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration with a medium helix angle of 35 degrees. Overall length is 5 inches with a 2.25 inch length of cut. The KOR5 series designation indicates a geometry tuned for both roughing and finishing passes. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and thermal control during high-material-removal-rate cuts. The submicron carbide grade and bright uncoated finish make it well suited to non-ferrous alloys where coating adhesion or edge buildup may be a concern.
This end mill is intended for single-end use in CNC machining centers and milling machines working non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper alloys, and similar materials. The Safe-Lock shank design provides a positive anti-pullout interface for high-feed applications. Kennametal specifies compatibility with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, HC-HSK Form A chucks, and the Hydraulic Chuck Standard Line Inch KM63XMZ. Normal pitch and standard length classification make this a direct-fit option in conventional tooling setups.
Compatible with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, HC-HSK Form A chucks, and the Hydraulic Chuck Standard Line Inch KM63XMZ. The 3/4 inch Safe-Lock shank interfaces with toolholders designed to that specification.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician with the machine fully stopped and in an energy-isolated state per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Confirm the toolholder bore and clamping system are clean and free of chips before seating the Safe-Lock shank to the specified engagement depth. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's recommended clamping torque range. Verify runout after assembly with a dial indicator before initiating the cut program.
