The KENNAMETAL 6754931 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in aluminum and non-ferrous materials. Part of the KOR5 series, this single-end tool features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, five flutes with a 35-degree helix angle, and a 2.25-inch length of cut. The chipbreaker geometry aids chip evacuation during deep cuts, while the bright/uncoated finish suits aluminum and non-ferrous workpieces where coating adhesion or contamination is a concern. Coolant-through capability supports higher feed rates and extended tool life in production environments. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops and manufacturing facilities install this tool for precision slotting and profiling operations.
This end mill is suited for milling aluminum alloys, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous materials in both roughing and finishing passes. The 5-flute, right-hand cutting, right-hand spiral configuration delivers high material removal rates while maintaining surface finish quality. The 3/4 inch shank diameter and 5-inch overall length make it compatible with standard ER and side-lock tool holders used in vertical and horizontal machining centers. The KOR5 series is optimized specifically for aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials, using material grade K600 carbide substrate.
Designed for use with aluminum and non-ferrous workpiece materials (material code N). Fits standard 3/4 inch ER collet chucks and side-lock end mill holders. Suitable for vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers equipped with through-spindle coolant.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is in a safe state before inserting or removing the end mill. Secure the 3/4 inch shank in a properly sized and clean collet or end mill holder, torquing to the tool holder manufacturer's specification. Verify coolant-through ports are clear and connected before initiating a cut, and confirm correct tool offset entry in the machine controller before running the program.
