The KENNAMETAL 6677062 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built to the H1TE series specification, it features a 1 inch diameter, a 2.25 inch length of cut, and a 0.0200 inch chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. The variable helix and variable index design reduce harmonic vibration during cutting, improving surface finish and tool life. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness retention at elevated cutting temperatures. This tool is centercutting and accepts a Weldon flat shank, making it compatible with standard end mill holders used in CNC machining centers.

This end mill is suited for roughing and finishing operations on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Typical operations include shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing.
