The KENNAMETAL 6676564 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It measures 1 inch in diameter with a 3-inch length of cut, a 6-inch overall length, and a 0.03-inch corner radius that blends floor-to-wall transitions and reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry combined with an AlTiN PVD coating delivers thermal resistance and wear protection when cutting hardened steels, stainless steels, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. Part of the H1TE series, this tool is centercutting and suited for both roughing and finishing passes in a single tool.
This end mill is designed for use on CNC machining centers handling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 1-inch Weldon flat shank provides positive anti-rotation retention in compatible holders, including EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A toolholding systems. With a normal pitch, no chipbreaker, and no coolant-through feature, it is best suited for operations where external flood or mist coolant is applied. The single-end, standard-length design fits production environments requiring consistent tool life in high-alloy and hard-material cutting conditions.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician with the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state per applicable safety procedures. Ensure the Weldon flat is properly aligned with the set screw in the toolholder to prevent axial pullout under load. Verify runout at setup and follow the toolholder torque specifications provided by the holder manufacturer. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material being machined.
