The KENNAMETAL 6676525 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for demanding material removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It carries a 3/4-inch mill diameter with a 0.03-inch corner radius, a 1-1/2-inch length of cut, and a 4-inch overall length. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry with a 36-degree helix angle delivers efficient chip evacuation during both roughing and finishing passes. An AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life in high-temperature cutting environments. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, and the Weldon flat shank ensures secure tool holding in collet or end mill holders.
This end mill is suited for CNC machining centers handling ferrous metals, heat-resistant superalloys, titanium alloys, and hardened workpiece materials. Its short flute length and submicron carbide grade make it appropriate for rigid setups where chatter control and dimensional accuracy are critical. Compatible toolholding setups include EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A adapters as specified by the manufacturer. It is a single-end tool intended for production and job-shop environments where consistent surface finish and corner geometry are required.
Designed for use with EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A toolholding systems as specified by KENNAMETAL. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per KENNAMETAL Series H1TE application guidelines.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or changing tooling. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully into the holder and engage the set screw against the flat to prevent axial pull-out. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production cut, and confirm spindle speed and feed rate against the material and coating specifications before engagement.
