The KENNAMETAL 6676513 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. It features a 5/8 inch cutting diameter, a 1-1/4 inch length of cut, and a 0.015 inch corner radius that extends tool life by reducing stress concentrations at the cutting edge. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness, making this tool suitable for both roughing and finishing operations. With 4 right-hand spiral flutes, a 36-degree helix angle, and centercutting capability, the 6676513 delivers efficient chip evacuation and versatile entry options across a range of workpiece materials.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight tolerances and surface finish quality are required. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The short flute length and Weldon flat shank provide rigidity and secure tool holding in demanding cuts. It is suited for job shop and production environments where a single tool must handle multiple material types. Compatible holders include EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A tooling systems as noted in product documentation.
Compatible with EM-CV Form AD and EM IN-HSK Form A toolholding systems. Designed for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials as part of the KENNAMETAL H1TE series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer or spindle is locked out before mounting or removing the end mill. Secure the Weldon flat against the set screw in the holder to the toolholder manufacturer's specification to prevent axial pull-out. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts, as excessive runout accelerates wear on carbide tooling.
