The KENNAMETAL 6676476 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for aggressive material removal and finishing in a single tool. Built to the H1TE series specification, it features a 1 inch cutting diameter, 4 inch length of cut, and a 0.03 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentration at the cutting edge and extends tool life in hard, abrasive workpiece materials. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and oxidation protection at elevated cutting temperatures. With four right-hand spiral flutes and a 36-degree helix, this end mill is engineered for rigidity and efficient chip evacuation in deep-pocket and long-reach applications. Weighing 1.84 pounds, it suits production environments where tool consistency and wear resistance are critical.
This end mill is suited for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its long-length geometry and single-end, centercutting design make it appropriate for deep cavity milling, profiling, and finishing operations on CNC machining centers. The straight cylindrical shank accepts standard toolholders including HC-HSK Form A, HC-CV Form AD, and ER single angle standard collets. It is targeted at machinists and toolroom professionals working in both job-shop and high-volume production settings where tool performance on difficult-to-machine alloys is required.
Compatible with HC-HSK Form A, HC-CV Form AD, and ER single angle standard collet toolholding systems. Designed for use on CNC machining centers cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials (ISO material codes P, M, K, S, H).
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and machine in an energy-isolated state per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the straight cylindrical shank is fully seated and properly torqued in the collet or toolholder before running. Verify runout with a dial indicator before engaging the workpiece, particularly given the long-reach geometry of this tool. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's clamping torque specifications for the selected interface.
