The KENNAMETAL 6676475 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 3 inch length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at part corners and extends tool life. The AlTiN PVD coating provides high hardness and heat resistance, making this tool effective at elevated cutting speeds. With 4 right-hand spiral flutes and a 36-degree helix angle, it is suited for both roughing and finishing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops or production environments will find this tool applicable across a wide range of ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials.
This end mill is built for applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, S, and H. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, adding flexibility for slotting and ramping operations. The straight cylindrical shank at 1 inch diameter is compatible with standard toolholding systems including ER single angle collets and HC-HSK Form A and HC-CV Form AD holders. It is a single-end tool at 6 inches overall length, classified under series H1TE with a submicron carbide grade substrate.
Compatible with HC-HSK Form A, HC-CV Form AD, and ER single angle standard collet toolholding systems. Designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials across CNC machining centers.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing the tool. Use a properly sized collet or toolholder to achieve full shank engagement and minimize runout. Confirm holder clamping torque meets the toolholder manufacturer specifications before initiating a cut.
