The KENNAMETAL 6676463 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. It carries a 0.75 inch mill diameter, a 0.12 inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a 36-degree helix angle. The cutting zone spans 2.25 inches, giving machinists extended reach for deep-pocket and side-milling operations. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides heat resistance and wear protection, extending tool life in abrasive and hard materials. The H1TE series designation places this tool in a submicron carbide grade engineered for both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Its centercutting geometry allows plunge entry, making it adaptable for slotting, profiling, and pocketing operations in CNC machining centers. The straight-cylindrical shank at 0.75 inches diameter is compatible with HC 1/2 to HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M to HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholding systems. It is used in production and job-shop environments where tight tolerances and surface finish quality are required across a range of workpiece materials.

Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is in a safe state before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully and evenly into the toolholder and verify runout with a dial indicator before production cutting. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque and clamping specifications for hydraulic or collet-style holders.
