The KENNAMETAL 6676453 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. Built on the H1TE series platform, this single-end, centercutting tool features a 3/4 inch mill diameter, a 0.03 inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a 36-degree helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and hardness at elevated cutting temperatures. Submicron carbide grade construction delivers edge integrity across roughing and finishing passes. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers working in job shops, aerospace facilities, and precision manufacturing environments will find this tool suited for aggressive stock removal and controlled finishing in a single setup.
This end mill is rated for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The short flute length and straight cylindrical shank make it compatible with high-rigidity toolholding systems. It is specified for use with HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves in inch bores, HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A holders. Normal pitch and fixed helix geometry simplify programming for conventional CNC milling centers.

Installation and use of this tool should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC tooling technicians familiar with end mill setup and toolholder torque procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the control is in an e-stop state before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Verify runout at the cutting diameter with a dial indicator before beginning a production run. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's clamping specifications for the hydraulic sleeve being used.
