The KENNAMETAL 6676388 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding metal-cutting applications across a wide range of ferrous and hard materials. Built to H1TE series specifications, it features a 3/8-inch cutting diameter with a 0.06-inch corner radius that blends strength and surface finish quality at the cutting edge. The AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life in high-heat environments by improving oxidation resistance. With 4 flutes and a right-hand spiral flute configuration, this end mill is suited for both roughing and finishing passes in a single setup. It is installed and used by machinists and toolroom professionals on CNC milling machines and machining centers.
This end mill is engineered for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, expanding its versatility in slotting, profiling, and ramp-milling operations. It is compatible with HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, making it a direct fit for Kennametal modular tooling systems used in production and job-shop environments where tight tolerances and consistent tool life are required.
Compatible with HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves with inch bores. Designed for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials in CNC milling applications. Straight-cylindrical shank fits standard 3/8-inch collet chucks and hydraulic toolholders.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following machine tool manufacturer guidelines for toolholder torque and runout specifications. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are fully de-energized and locked out before changing or setting the tool. Verify shank seating depth and runout with a dial indicator before committing to a production cut. Do not exceed the manufacturer-recommended cutting parameters for the workpiece material being machined.
