The KENNAMETAL 6676371 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding metalworking applications. Built on the H1TE series platform, it features a 0.25-inch mill diameter, a 0.03-inch corner radius, and an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating that extends tool life in high-heat cutting environments. With 4 right-hand spiral flutes and a centercutting design, this end mill handles both roughing and finishing passes. The submicron carbide grade provides the hardness and wear resistance needed when working in difficult-to-machine materials. It is installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The 3/4-inch length of cut and 2.5-inch overall length make it a compact, rigid choice for slotting, profiling, and contouring operations where tool deflection must be minimized. The straight-cylindrical shank accepts standard collet chucks and hydraulic tool holders. Kennametal specifies compatibility with HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores and HC-CV Form AD tool holders.
Compatible with HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores and HC-CV Form AD tool holders. Designed for use in machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per Kennametal material codes P, M, K, S, and H.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool holder must be depressurized or released before inserting or removing the end mill. Verify runout after clamping to confirm proper seating in the collet or hydraulic holder. Do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended cutting parameters for the specific workpiece material.
