The KENNAMETAL 6676357 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. With a 0.2188-inch cutting diameter, a 0.01-inch corner radius, and four flutes in a right-hand spiral configuration, this tool delivers clean edge finishes while maintaining structural integrity at the cutting edge. The AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides heat resistance and extended tool life in dry or semi-dry cutting conditions. Manufactured from submicron-grade carbide, it is suited for production environments where tool consistency and wear resistance are critical. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in steel, stainless, cast iron, superalloys, and hard materials are the primary users of this end mill.
This end mill belongs to the KENNAMETAL H1TE series, a short-length geometry optimized for rigidity in tight-tolerance applications. The 0.5-inch length of cut and 2-inch overall length make it well suited for shallow pocket milling, profiling, and contouring operations on CNC machining centers. The centercutting design allows plunge entry, expanding its versatility in slotting and full-radius profiling. Compatible toolholding includes HC-CV Form AD holders and ER single-angle standard collets, as specified by the manufacturer.

The 0.25-inch straight-cylindrical shank fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders sized for 1/4-inch shank tooling.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the toolholder manufacturer's clamping specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder to the minimum recommended grip depth before torquing the retention nut. Verify runout with a dial indicator after installation, as excessive runout will accelerate wear and degrade surface finish on this close-tolerance tool.
