The KENNAMETAL 6676354 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding materials. It features a 3/16 inch (0.1875 inch) cutting diameter, a 3/8 inch length of cut, and a 0.03 inch corner radius that reduces stress concentrations at the cutting edge and extends tool life. The 4-flute, right-hand spiral geometry is suited for both roughing and finishing operations. An AlTiN PVD coating provides high-temperature resistance and hardness, making this tool effective in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. Licensed machinists and CNC operators running production or job-shop work are the primary users.
This end mill fits single-end, centercutting applications on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers. The straight cylindrical shank at 3/16 inch diameter is compatible with precision collet chucks and hydraulic toolholding systems. The short length type and 2 inch overall length provide rigidity in tight setups. It is well suited for contouring, profiling, and slot finishing in steel and hard alloy workpieces where corner integrity and surface finish are critical.
Designed for use with HC 20M through HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, HC 1/2 through HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves inch with inch bores, and ER single angle standard collets. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials per material codes P, M, K, S, and H.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom technician. Secure the shank fully within the collet or hydraulic chuck to the recommended gauge line before clamping. Confirm spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before starting the cut. Inspect the cutting edges and coating for damage before each use, and do not exceed the tool manufacturer's recommended speeds and feeds for the workpiece material.
