The KENNAMETAL 6676352 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for demanding metal removal in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. It features a 0.1563-inch diameter cutting edge with a 0.0100-inch corner radius, four flutes, and a 36-degree helix angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides high heat resistance and extended tool life in high-speed and dry cutting conditions. At 2 inches overall length with a 7/16-inch length of cut, this single-end, centercutting tool is suited for slotting, profiling, and finishing operations in precision machining environments. It is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers in job shop and production settings.
This end mill fits applications requiring tight corner radii and consistent surface finish in difficult-to-machine materials. The H1TE series is built for both roughing and finishing in ferrous and exotic alloy workpieces. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3/16 inch (0.1875 inches) in diameter, making it compatible with standard collet and hydraulic toolholding systems. It is appropriate for use in vertical and horizontal machining centers where precision small-diameter work is required. Right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction are standard for conventional CNC milling setups.
Compatible with HC 20M through HC 32M Hydraulic Sleeves Metric with Inch Bores, HC 1/2 through HC 1-1/4 Hydraulic Sleeves Inch with Inch Bores, and ER Single Angle Standard Collets. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials in standard CNC milling applications.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. The tool must be seated fully and evenly in the collet or hydraulic toolholder and torqued to the toolholder manufacturer specification before operation. Confirm spindle direction is set to right-hand rotation before running. Inspect the cutting edge and coating for chips or damage before each use; do not run a damaged end mill.
