The KENNAMETAL 6676350 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling in demanding material categories including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials. The tool features a 1/8 inch cutting diameter, a 0.01 inch corner radius, and four right-hand spiral flutes with a 38-degree helix angle. An AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating provides elevated heat resistance and extended tool life at high cutting speeds. The H1TE series designation indicates a long-length configuration suited for reaching into pockets and slots where standard-length tooling falls short. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers will find this tool appropriate for both roughing and finishing passes.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where tight corner radii and surface finish matter. The 1/8 inch shank diameter with a straight-cylindrical profile seats in ER single angle standard collets. With a 1/2 inch length of cut and 1-1/2 inch overall length, it is well suited for shallow-to-mid-depth pocket milling, profiling, and slotting operations on ferrous and hard workpiece materials. Centercutting geometry allows plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole, adding operational flexibility.
Designed for use with ER single angle standard collets. Suitable for milling steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials in CNC and conventional machining applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist familiar with rotating cutting tool setup and collet torque procedures. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and locked before inserting or removing the end mill from the collet. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning a production run, as concentricity directly affects tool life and surface finish. Follow machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting speeds and feeds for the workpiece material.
