The KENNAMETAL 6676349 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision material removal in demanding machining applications. Built to the H1TE series specification, it features a 1/8 inch diameter with a 0.015 inch corner radius, four flutes, and a 36-degree helix angle. The cutting edges carry an AlTiN (aluminum titanium nitride) PVD coating, which extends tool life at elevated cutting temperatures. With an overall length of 1-1/2 inches and a 1/4 inch length of cut, this is a short-series tool suited for tight-tolerance work in confined pockets and slots. Submicron carbide grade construction supports use across a broad range of workpiece materials. Installation and use require a licensed machinist or CNC operator familiar with proper toolholder selection and feed-and-speed parameters.
This end mill is rated for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, S, and H. The centercutting geometry allows both plunge and lateral entry. The right-hand flute direction and right-hand cutting direction make it compatible with conventional right-hand spindle setups. It is specified for both roughing and finishing passes, making it a versatile single-tool solution in high-mix, low-volume CNC milling environments. The straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with ER single angle standard collets.
Compatible with ER single angle standard collets. Designed for use in right-hand CNC milling spindles with a straight-cylindrical 1/8 inch shank toolholder. Suitable for machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Seat the shank fully into a clean, undamaged ER collet or equivalent 1/8 inch straight-shank holder and torque the collet nut to the toolholder manufacturer's specification. Confirm spindle direction is right-hand before starting the cut. Do not exceed the rated length of cut when setting axial depth of engagement.
