The KENNAMETAL 6676333 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding material applications. Built on the H1TE series platform, it features a 6.00 mm cutting diameter, a 13.00 mm length of cut, and a 0.15 mm chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life during aggressive cutting cycles. With four flutes, a variable helix, and a variable index design, this tool is engineered to reduce chatter and improve surface finish in both roughing and finishing operations. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers in job shops and production environments are the primary users of this tool.
This end mill is suited for shouldering, slotting, rampdown, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing operations. Its centercutting capability supports plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials. The Weldon flat shank ensures secure tool holding in compatible end mill holders. The extended reach design, with an 18.00 mm reach length and a 5.64 mm neck diameter, allows access to deeper features without sacrificing rigidity.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and milling machines equipped with holders accepting a 6.00 mm Weldon flat shank. Compatible with steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys and titanium, and hard materials as defined by ISO material codes P, M, K, S, and H. Manufacturer catalog number H1TE4CH0600N013HBM. Material grade KCPM15.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool changer is in a safe state before loading or unloading the tool. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully in the holder and torque the set screw to the holder manufacturer specification before running. Verify tool runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts.
