The KENNAMETAL 6675742 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill engineered for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining environments. Built on the H1TE platform, it features a 10 mm cutting diameter, 22 mm length of cut, and a 0.50 mm chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle. The four-flute, variable-helix geometry with a 36 to 39 degree helix angle promotes chip evacuation, reduces chatter, and enables stable cuts in both roughing and finishing passes. An AlTiN PVD coating improves heat resistance and tool life when cutting abrasive and hard workpiece materials. The 10 mm straight-cylindrical shank makes it compatible with standard collet and milling chuck toolholders used across machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is suited for a range of milling operations including shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing. It is designed for use on steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and hard materials, covering ISO material codes P, M, K, S, and H. The centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without pre-drilling.
