Built to the EC insert style with a KCU25 manufacturer grade, this insert features a 0.125 inch cutting width and a 12-degree right-hand lead angle. The KCU25 substrate is PVD-coated with an Al2O3 finish, delivering wear resistance and edge stability across a range of workpiece materials. The CF chipbreaker geometry controls chip flow during cutoff, reducing the risk of chip packing. Licensed machinists and CNC operators install this insert into compatible EC-style parting toolholders.
This insert suits production turning applications in metalworking shops handling interrupted cuts, bar stock parting, and groove profiling. It is engineered for right-hand cutting setups where the tool approaches from the operator side.
